If you are serious about getting involvedwith Opera at Florham you may contact908 754 7989.Below is a review of our latest production!06/07/99By Willa J. ConradStar-Ledger Review."La Rondine" Presented by Opera at Florham, at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Dreyfuss Theater on the Florham-Madison campus Saturday evening There's much to be learned from Anton Coppola's elbow. Nearing 80, he is the most ubiquitous of American opera conductors - the snow-haired titan can in any week be found conducting anything from the smallest of regional opera companies to the Metropolitan Opera. Sitting a few rows behind him, one notices how much he controls the music with a few shifts of two massive eyebrows, an unmistakable downbeat, a pointing finger, and that tightly glued right elbow that never leaves his side. Favourite linksLink URL:Link Name:Comments:Link URL:Link Name:Comments:Link URL:Link Name:Comments:Email me at:% |
